As a very exotic and rare houseplant the Alocasia ‘Stingray’ is an upcoming trendy indoor plant. It got its name – Alocasia ‘Stingray’ – from its eye-catching, upright, wing-shaped leaves with a long pointed ‘tail’ that make the plant look a lot like my namesake. It is not hard to keep in good condition. Likes moist but well-drained soil of moderate fertility in partial shade. Indoors, grow in filtered light. Provide high humidity, ample water, and fertilizer every 2 to 3 weeks during the growing season.
Alocasia ‘Stingray’ in a 12cm pot with a totalheight of 40-50cm.
